Golf at Bent Tree Golf Course
Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the golf course at Bent Tree is one of North Georgia’s most beautiful 18-hole championship courses. The Joe Lee designed course meanders through the base of several mountains, past waterfalls, mountain streams, and brooks, boldly confronting the broad shoulder of Sharp Top Mountain. Although golf carts are available to rent, many of our residents prefer to drive their own cart which they may use on the course and throughout the community.
Equestrian
Soak in the breathtaking mountain views and ride along the lakeside, or watch a majestic sunset behind Sharp Top Mountain. Uncover a world away from city living as you reconnect with nature riding in peace, through the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. The Stables consists of two large arenas with river sand footing, and a lighted arena. The barn consists of 15 large 12x12 stalls, a private boarded tack room, grooming areas and wash racks, small paddocks for individual turnout as well as large pastures with run in shelters.
Fishing/ Boating
Bring you kayak and paddle around the 108 acre lake and enjoy catching bass, trout and bream or just enjoy the serenity of the calm water with no motorized boats zooming past you.In the North Georgia Mountains, our 110-acre lake is 1,450 feet above sea level and is 85 feet deep. The lake is fed by numerous streams. It is inhabited by bass, pan fish and other numerous fish and stocked annually with trout and channel catfish.

Hiking Trails
Enjoy Pendley Creek and Lake Tamarack; The Bent Tree Lake & Wildlife organization maintains four trails in Bent Tree: Sallie Doss, Forever Memorial, Denny Ridge and Beaver Run. They range from easy to strenuous, and each trail offers its own unique hiking experience. Additionally, the Spillway Observation Path adjacent to Forever Memorial will provide serene relaxation.
